Can you put a price on a beautiful smile? Of course not.
But sometimes having a beautiful smile means getting braces first. And that’s when things can start to seem a little complicated.
How much do braces cost? That’s the first question most people ask when they’re thinking about orthodontics. Everyone wants affordable braces, whether they’re looking for adult braces, teen braces, traditional braces or today’s orthodontic innovation, Invisalign (the virtually invisible way to improve your smile!)
At Scantlebury Orthodontics we want all of our patients here in Brooklyn to feel the benefits of better functioning, better-looking teeth (and a winning smile!), and we’ve come up with a number of ways to make orthodontic care available to all and to make sure that the braces you want are affordable braces.
What is the average cost of braces? What is the average cost of Invisalign? Those are questions that are difficult to answer, as every person’s needs and treatment program will vary. However, once you determine which kind of braces are right for you, Scantlebury is here to help, with a range of financing options to fit your individual needs.
Of course, you can always pay for your braces by check or by Visa, MasterCard or American Express. But if you’d rather spread out your payments, Scantlebury Orthodontics offers in-house financing with no down payment and flexible, affordable monthly payments.
When you finance your smile in-house with Scantlebury Orthodontics, you’re eligible for
- 0% financing options
- $0 down payment for braces
- Low monthly payments to fit your budget
- Extended financing terms
Other Ways To Make Braces Affordable
Another way to pay for braces is if you have an FSA or an HSA. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are part of employee benefit plans, and allow account holders to set aside pre-tax money to pay for any part of their orthodontics not otherwise covered by dental insurance. Ask your HR director if your company plan makes provision for an FSA.
Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) are similar to FSAs but they are not dependent on employer benefit plans – anyone can open an HSA at a bank or credit union. Both FSAs and HSAs are pre-tax (money you earn that you will never be taxed on) and can be used to cover co-pays, deductibles, and many vision or dental expenses, including braces and Invisalign.
Another financing option you might want to explore is the Care Credit card, a specialized credit card designed to cover medical, vision and dental expenses. Care Credit offers special financing and low monthly payments, no up-front costs and no prepayment penalties. You can apply today at www.carecredit.com or by calling (800) 677-0718.
